Why should you attend?

For a positive exposure of our community in the American mainstream.

Lunar New Year celebration is the single largest organized annual event in Chicago's Asian American community, which numbers over 300,000.

More than 1,500 are expected to attend the gala event, including numerous dignitaries. The Asian consular corps, elected and appointed governmental officials, top business and corporate leaders, decision-makers at Chicago's major media press outlets, and everyone who considers him or herself a mover and shaker in and around, or for the Asian Pacific American national movement usually attend.

"Asian Cultural Program": Cultural performances from various Asian countries.

Governor Ryan, Mayor Daley, Senators, Congressmen & other dignitaries are expected to attend this event.

If you can invite your Mayor, Congressman or any other V.I.P. from your area please inform us in advance, we will arrange to have them seated with you and be recognized at the banquet program.

Prime location tables have been reserved by P.C.S. and S.A.H.O., but seats are limited.

Ms. Rita Mullins, Mayor of Palatine will be PCS guests at the event.
