About Us . Sponsors and Donors

PCS seeks SPONSORS/DONORS for its not for profit events and they are/will be appropriately recognized at the event.   Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago is a registered nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with Internal Revenue Services, ID # 37-1321120 and your donations made to PCS is tax deductible to the extent permitted by IRS.  The funds raised from PCS events will be used to develop well-needed Punjabi Community Center.

The event was Vaisakhi celebration program "Rangla Punjab 2002" on March 30, 2002, at Gateway Theater Chicago

The program was sponsored by Matrix Packaging Inc., U.S. Petro Mart, Punjab Auto Works, Met Life Financial Services, Mrs. Bhagwant Kaur Sidhu, Vice Roy of India restaurant, and Buehler YMCA. Dr. Robert Singh and Dr. Surjit Singh Patheja have sponsored the PCS Scholarship to be awarded later.

Mrs. Bhagwant Kaur Sidhu, who co-sponsored the event in memory of her late husband Dr. Harbans Singh Sidhu, was awarded a plaque of honor.  MetLife representatives were honored by the P.C.S. chairman Jaidev Singh Bhattal.  Ronny Kular and Baljeet Sangha were recognized with plaques for their special contributions.
