Asian American Seniors Association

Previously known as Seniors Tea Party but due to increase in number of issues covered new name was chosen.  Members meet every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at 1280 Winnetka Rd Palatine to discuss Immigration, Social Security issues and to some other common problems.

A place for Sikh grandparents and Seniors to discuss immigration, social security, insurance, grand parenting and many other issues.

• Dec 12: Lecture on Diabetes (Sugar) at SRS, Wednesday, 5:30pm to 6:30 pm.
  Lecture will be given by the team of Diabetes experts of Northwest Community Hospital Arlington Hts, IL. Everyone is invited to attend. Lectures are followed by light refreshments provided by Seniors. Lecture on Depression and Loneliness 
Lecture on Depression and Loneliness will cover symptoms, precautions and treatment available and will be given by well known Psychiatrist Dr HarGurmakh Pal Singh. Dr SIngh works with State of Illinois at various institutions. Wednesday, Oct 31st, 2001, 6PM to 7PM

Lecture on Living Will
Lecture on Living Will by Steve Evans, a lawyer who has his own practice in Palatine to speak on Will which will include topics like Living Will, Estate etc. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, 6PM to 7PM at SRS

PACE will provide bus ride for Seniors from their homes in Palatine to Sikh Religious Society Palatine on Wednesdays before 4PM. People need to register with PACE and need to call 2 days ahead to make an appointment. Rides after the seniors meeting will be provided by volunteers of the community.
