Join the Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago for Punjabi Mela 2026: A Healthier Community Fun Fair, happening on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Deer Grove East, Picnic Groves #1, #2 & #3 (1599 Pepper Tree Drive, Palatine, IL 60067). This vibrant celebration brings together culture, community, food, family fun, and sports for a day the whole family can enjoy — and best of all, entry, parking, and food are all free!
Come celebrate Punjabi heritage with a lineup of festive activities including friendly volleyball matches, live music, a bouncy house for the kids, lemon race, kite flying, three-legged race, shotput, and tug of war. Whether you're looking to connect with old friends, meet new neighbors, or simply enjoy a fun-filled afternoon outdoors with your family, Punjabi Mela 2026 has something for everyone. Bring your loved ones and join us for a joyful day of tradition, community spirit, and healthy fun. Please note: parking is available, but we kindly ask attendees not to park on the grass.

PCS Drawing Contest
PCS Drawing Competition for children 5 years old to 16 years old will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Lunch will be served. First, second and third Prizes will be given to the winners in the Elementary, Middle and High school categories.

Rangla Punjab 2024
Punjabi Cultural Society’s annual flagship event “RANGLA PUNJAB – 2024,” to celebrate Vaisakhi festival, held on April 20th. at Copernicus Center in Chicago was a dazzling extravaganza of Punjabi culture and community. More than 1200 community members and guests from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin flocked to watch more than 350 local talent in authentic, traditional, colorful costumes, who presented energetic performances of more than 30 varieties of Punjabi folk dances Bhangra and Giddha, solo songs, “boliaan” on “Dhol” beats music, performed by young children, youth and adults, non-stop for about 5 hours. This memorable event was a delightful blend of culture and community, and a huge success by all measures, evident from the complements and applause from the audience. It was truly like a mini-Punjab in Chicago.

The Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago (PCS) flagship annual event “Rangla Punjab” to celebrate Vaisakhi festival, was held on March 25, 2023, at MAC Auditorium, College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This was the 29th year of this event by Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago.
Rangla Punjab 2022
The Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago flagship annual event “Rangla Punjab” to celebrate (belated) Vaisakhi festival, was held on May 21, after an hiatus of couple of years due to the covid19 pandemic, at the Yellow Box Theater, Naperville, Illinois. This was the 28th year of this event by PCS.
